The word ADAPT means to adjust, adapt, modify. Adaptation to the water environment is the period in which the body masters the aquatic environment, that is, it is the first moment to familiarize oneself with the new environment in which it will be inserted, acquiring confidence and mastery of the water. This process must be safe and attractive so that it is positive and provides a basis for teaching and learning. Materials and equipment make the student-water relationship more attractive and enjoyable. The use of these materials gives the professional the possibility of developing creativity, self-confidence, socialization, balance, body knowledge and the development of motor skills in students, in addition to stimulating sensory perceptions. The teaching-learning process is much more harmonious and grounded when carried out with joy, achievements and pleasure!
